Vincent Celano

Founder/Principal

Vincent Celano, founder and principal of New York City-based Celano Design Studio, has made his name in hospitality design and architecture, collaborating with brands including Centurion Restaurant Group, Elizabeth Blau & Associates, Grove Bay Hospitality, Fenwick Hospitality, The One Group and more.

Born in Toronto, Canada and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Celano discovered his passion for design and architecture from the neighborhoods, culture, and people around him.

After graduating from New York’s Pratt Institute with a degree in architecture, Celano immediately went on to work for some of the most sought-after firms in the industry, including Rockwell Group, Jeffrey Beers International, and ICRAVE.

In 2006, he launched Celano Design Studio to service his extensive roster of internationally acclaimed hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs in design, architecture, and branding.  Celano’s personalized approach to all projects starts with his architectural expertise in seeing a raw space, and then sculpting it into a personality all of its own through carefully conceptualized design.  True to his professional motto, “do not fall in love with the idea, fall in love with the process,” Celano implements this ever-changing imaginative process into his work on a daily basis.

Next on the horizon, Celano has been hand-picked to lead design for some of Marriott International, Inc.’s most exciting new projects including projects with the renowned Autograph Collection, boutique style Moxy brand properties, and the rebrand and repositioning of Marriott’s Fairfield Inn brand of select-service hotels.

A national leader in hospitality design, Celano will work closely with Marriott International, Inc.’s team to create vibrant, thoughtful and functional new spaces for all guests.
