The latest project by restauranteur Donny Petridus, Karād The Shelby, is a restaurant concept that combines Elevated American Comfort Food with the attitude of the Girl Next Door. The Shelby’s philosophy is simple: EAT DRINK CHEERS with a focus on the latter. The Shelby is lively and enjoyable with a menu, much like that girl, casual but considered. At the Shelby, one will be able to sit at the full bar and order house-cured chicken wings with a craft beer from 20 rotating drafts. Alternatively, the well-dressed dining room is a perfect place for families and parties to enjoy signature entree’s as well as whole baked items. The Shelby’s interior decor reflects this tone using playful yet sophisticated details in furniture and finishes such as a striking wall mural and grand copper ceiling pendants. Showcasing finishes with a lightly distressed layer adds warmth to the space and makes The Shelby feel like a well-worn classic destination.
